• We do not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services and do not embed third-party content – no social media plugins, no externally loaded fonts, no maps or videos.
• We only set cookies that are technically necessary: for your language choice and your cookie decision.
• We process personal data mainly when you contact us via the inquiry form or by email.

This website is hosted by netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

When you visit the website, the server processes your IP address to the extent technically necessary to deliver the page. Access logs containing IP addresses are not stored. Application error messages are kept in rotating logs of no more than 30 MB that are continuously overwritten; in individual cases they may contain an IP address.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website.

We only use technically necessary cookies:

• “aj_locale” – stores the language you have chosen. Lifetime: 12 months.
• “aj_consent” – stores your decision in the cookie notice. Lifetime: 6 months.

These cookies are strictly necessary for functions you have expressly requested (Section 25(2) no. 2 of the German TDDDG); further processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer of the page.

To offer you the page in your language where possible, the site evaluates the language setting of your browser. This happens exclusively in your browser; we do not store this information.

When you send us an inquiry via the form, we process the details you provide: name, email address, optionally a phone number, your message and, where applicable, the piece of jewelry you are asking about. As proof of consent we also store the time, the language of the page and the versions of the privacy policy and terms and conditions you agreed to.

The purpose is to handle and answer your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and – for proving your consent and preventing abuse – Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Your inquiry is stored in our database at the hosting provider and forwarded by email to aj@andreajanosik.com. You will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt at the email address you provided.

To prevent abuse, your IP address is held in memory for no more than one hour when you submit the form, in order to limit the number of inquiries per connection. It is not stored permanently.

We delete inquiries once they have been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply, and in any case no later than 24 months after receipt.

Name, email address and message are required so that we can process your inquiry.

For sending and receiving email we use ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with this provider.

If you write to us directly by email, we process your details in order to answer your message (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).

The controller is established outside the European Union (USA). Inquiries and emails are retrieved and answered from there. No adequacy decision of the European Commission applies to the controller; in particular, she is not certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The transfer is necessary to handle your inquiry (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR). Your data is used there exclusively for that purpose.

Our site links to our Instagram profile. Only when you click this link are you taken to Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.); from that point their privacy policy applies. No data is transmitted to Instagram beforehand.

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

The connection between your browser and our server is encrypted using TLS. The database is not reachable from the internet; only authorized persons have access.

No automated decision-making, including profiling (Art. 22 GDPR), takes place.
